‘Sister Wives’ LEAK: Kody Brown Confirms Another Trip to Altar in Season 17

Sister Wives star Kody Brown is not the best at keeping things secret. Even with a contract in place that stipulates keeping the new season under wraps, he fumbles now and then. That’s when things come out that maybe shouldn’t. Here’s what Papa Brown leaked recently about Season 17 of their TLC show.

Sister Wives: Season 17 Through the Eyes of Kody Brown

Sometimes you learn more from Kody Brown as he turns down questions than when he answers them. That’s because he’ll go on and on about why he can’t answer them.

During his explanation spiel, he usually drops an unintentional clue on what does happen in the new season. So, what has Kody and a few of his Sister Wives family members revealed so far?

First of all, Season 17 sounds like an ongoing part of Season 16. It looks like no time passes between the two seasons. But still, a lot happens in the new season that started up in the last.

Sister Wives: Kody Brown

In one of Kody’s recent videos that he makes for the fans on Cameo, he explained what he can’t say due to his contract. But by the time he finished with that explanation, a lot of info popped out.

Kody’s Wife #3 Jumps Ship

Christine Brown pulled a good one over on Kody in the last season. He thought that finding his belongings packed up in the garage was his wife’s way of bluffing.

Well as fans know now, it wasn’t a bluff. Christine has been in Utah as a single divorced mom for the better part of a year today. She made her announcement back in November that she left Kody. But she revealed their split after she settled in Utah.

It seems for about 10 months now, Christine hasn’t been part of Kody Brown’s Sister Wives clan. Fans saw the beginning of her leaving. So, it stands to reason the actual goodbye happens in Season 17.

Sister Wives: Another Marriage for Papa Brown

Kody revealed he takes part in another marriage in the new season. That is how fans learned that one season runs into another.

He started to tell the spoiler way back before this last season started then caught himself. He then said he can’t discuss it because this event shows up in the following season, which is Season 17.

Sister Wives: Kody Brown

Yes, Kody does stand at an altar once again but this time he is not getting married. Instead, he’s doing the marrying. It seems his friend, who is a life-long bachelor, decided to marry late in life.

Kody knows so much about marriage with four wives in his history. So, the Sister Wives patriarch said this buddy asked him to officiate.

That’s out of Kody Brown’s mouth so it’s a spoiler of things to come in the next season of this reality series.

Things to Watch for Next Season:

Robyn Brown’s outcast role continues as her co-wife heads to Utah. Christine blames Kody’s all-consuming love for Robyn as the final straw to end her marriage.

He refused to have sex with her, which suggested Robyn was the only wife he romanced these days. Yet Christine remains part of the Sister Wives going forward. This reveal came from her only son, Paedon Brown.

Plus, Janelle Brown slapped Kody with the “F” word last season. This goes to show how fed up she is with her long-time spiritual husband. While she’s still in the family, look for tough times ahead for her and Kody.

It looks as if we may get a peek at Janelle’s RV lifestyle as well. The season was filmed as Janelle moved onto Coyote Pass last summer.

It also sounds like not much will change for Kody and Meri Brown. Yet she hangs in there and remains hopeful that someday he’ll come back to her as a husband.

Coyote Pass Progress on Sister Wives Season 17

Kody Brown and a couple of his adult kids promised progress on Coyote Pass for the upcoming season. A few videos with hints of progress in the background popped up over the last few months.

But it sounds as if they are keeping things under wraps until Season 17 rolls out. Don’t forget, the new season could be only weeks away. TLC doesn’t usually reveal a Sister Wives new season date until close to the premiere.

Usually, there are 4-6 months between seasons. But the pandemic threw that way off. Now, though, they’re getting back to business as usual on their series.

With last season ending at the end of February, a July or August debut fits the pattern. So, we could see Kody and his tribe as soon as a few weeks away.
